Neideker Tornado -vs- Sims Carve

I have a Neideker Tornado GS 163 that I have ridden about 8 days. I don't know the SCR. The tip/waist/tail are 244/189/238.

At a garage sale I bought a Sims Carve 161. I have ridden it one day. I don't know the SCR. The tip/waist/tail are 250/200/250.

Which would be a better board to learn on? I'm 5'11" - 155 lbs. I realize that the Sims wider waist would allow me to run smaller angles.

The tornado has a little taper to it which would make it hook up easier. Then again, the wider waist is nice.

I'd go with whichever one you're more comfortable on. If you're uncomfortable/scared you're not gonna like it and you're not gonna get any better.
