RJ-PS
Help a brother out I'm trying to figure out what is going on in our niche market. Head liners are not considered a full-thermo even though they have thermo capabilities, so they are half standard/half thermo. I've heard great things about foam, but I'm not sure I want to carry them if no one will ride them.
pebu
If I knew then what I know now I would probably have gotten some boots with or compatible with thermofit liners. But since I already have the boots, they'll have to do.
Budge
I found the stock liners of my Salomon Malamutes were very painful on the top of my arch. I swapped the Intuition liners out of my hardboots into the Malamutes and the solved the problem completely. They do not have the fancy velcro hold down and the lacing, but they are way more comfortable and hold my foot just fine.
skategoat
One thing I find with soft boot liners is that they pack out like crazy. Them seem to fit just great in the store but halfway through your first day, your foot is swimming. And I hate sloppy fit. So last year, I jammed my foot into a pair of Nitro boots that hurt like hell in the store. After a day of riding, they were perfect. Hans
I ahve some Vans Boa softies. They are semi thermo. After a couple of days riding, they are well formed to my feet. They have a snug fitt. I can make them as snugg as I want with the metal Boa lines.
