Dr D
gotta have the Zardoz on warm days. and cold temp wax is a must as well. both extremes can kill a day on the mountain if your wax isn't up to it.
tex1230
I usually wax every other day...1 ball Jay...it smells like Rootbeer...sinice I spend way more time on Man Made than mother nature, I think I feel a good wax job 1 ball Jay is good stuff - and I believe it is made by Matt Cummins, one of LibTech's first pros... and what's with the uber-moderation...not like I did another GO ROCKIES!!! post... Dr D
a note on the zardoz. having wax in your base is the key to this stuff. IT won't save a dry base.
dano
I always end up at resorts that have huge flats, so I wax it whenever I get the chance. ( I haven't gone blind yet either ) Yeah good velcro effect with the soul patch.

Fastskiguy
I went with "More Than Somewhat".... Being from the Midwest, it's critical that I get up to carving speed ASAP, IMO... It allows me to be efficient... It's no fun if you need to waste the top 1/4 of a run straightlinging to get enough speed... Also, I have some situations at my home hill that require me to have a few hundred yards of run-out if I want to get to another part of the hill and I have to change lifts... Yeah, what he said. Gotta just love a fast running board.
Pow
catwalks are a drag, but i grin very wide when i cruise on through past all the skiiers and boarders waddling awkwardly by:biggthump wax definately improves my day, and my boards are always waxed (dominator hyperzoom rocks)
powell1.8
The frozen sand paper we ride on here in MN will shred a base that is not somewhat protected, so I wax. I have not noticed a huge difference in different temp waxes. I'm always hungry for good info. Does anyone know of a good resource(like a book)for learning tuning technique? Look HERE for tons of detailed info Click on "tuning tips" at the top then click on the subject you want. The products they carry are top notch and well priced. Great service too. SEJ
I agree about Zardoz in the spring. It has helped to extend the season for me.
