SuperEQ
I have both.:D Bought a brand new ATV 171 last winter... custom order, custom graphics (Grey Prior Top Sheet, super rare RED bottom). Rode it twice. I'm 6'4", 210lbs and I ride really aggressive... I simply overpower this board. I should have gotten a Split Tail Pow-Stick. (It's what I wanted in the first place.:() My main board has been a 179 Four Wheel Drive. I love this board... 4 years old, still the best board I've ever ridden... super clean... never ridden early/late season (No repairs ever needed on base.) Don't know if I want to sell it, but now that I mainly board in Canada, i NEED a deep Powder board. Let me know if your interested. BlueB
EQ, I'll trade a brand new 4807 for your ATV. You'll have a deep pow board, I'll have a great teaching board - how's that? Drop me an email through forum if interested. Your's is not enabled... Boris
SuperEQ
Thanks for the offer BlueB, but I really want a 181 Split-tail Pow-Stick. I rode one while my ATV was being built and loved it. BTW... what is a 4807? Thanks again for the offer EQ

EQ Do mind expanding on your comments about 'overpowering' your ATV? I've been riding soft boots for 12 years (currently on K2 Eldorado 164cm) and am looking to get into alpine snowboarding. Prior seems to be well regarded, but I can't decide between the ATV or 4x4. His website says the ATV is for beginners (like me) but the 4x4 seems to be more popular. For the record, I'm 6'0" (183cm) and 200lbs (91kg) in street clothes. Shoes are 11 US (45 Euro). Thanks, Ben
