shewgill
Hey I have one last convert in the family. I am looking for a small carver for my 8 year old. 135 would be the best. I have the bindings, or will take the set. If I find one, there will be three carvers in the family!!!!
Surf Quebec
Are you talking about an alpine board ? I've never see kids with hard boots
shewgill
Yes, a carving board, my oldest son, now 11 started when he was 9 on a 150cm Burton. They both started skiing before they were two and started on a freestyle board when they were 6. If you have kids that skateboard and freestyle snowboard, they pick up the carving board very quickly. it's their choice, no pressure, they love the speed.....Steve
Surf Quebec
Cool ! Are they using snowboard hardboots or ski boots ? My 2 older sons (11 and 8) are switching from ski to snowboard (softboots) this year and my youngest one (6) is starting ski this winter I'll try to teach them some carving this year. shewgill
Yup, start on the freestyle board and then go to the carver, probably a year later. They use their ski boots, see attached pics in PDF form....Steve Alexboard.pdf
