D-Sub Posted August 1, 2007 Report Share Posted August 1, 2007 wow. 5 birdies. when I played a lot, I had 2 birdies and an eagle and still shot a stinkin 75! I'm about as erratic as they come. played the other day and was 1 over through 8. Stuck approach to about 12" on nine. and missed the putt. back nine I just lost interest due to disappointment I guess. character flaw. I played Killington GC on saturday after attending a unicycle trials competition and had one of my best ball striking rounds of the year. Unfortunately I managed to match that with one of my worst putting rounds. On the first three holes I was putting for birdie, eagle, birdie and three-putted all three. I went out last night for a twilight nine playing four or five balls a hole and managed to get length I've never experienced before. Had career drives on five of the nine holes. I just flattened out the swing plane and delayed the release a bit. Even the irons were smoking. It'll be interesting to see if the distance is still there next time I play.
