willywhit
http://www.madisoncountygravityfest.com/2.html The course is 1.5 miles in length with a total elevation change of 500 feet. There are sweeping curves and mind-bending corners. This is an event that is extremely difficult to describe to anyone who has never seen Gravity racing. You have to see it to believe it!! There are several different classes that race; Street Luge, Standup Skateboard, Classic Luge (Buttboard), Dirtsurfers and Gravity Bikes. Racers compete in Junior, Amateur and Pro classes, with racers as young as 12 years old.
wavechaser
Check out my photos from the Ascutney race last Saturday...a lot of the racers said it was the most technically demanding hill they'd ever raced on - a 22%grade! http://www.cloudtenweb.com/events/gmm/gmm_index.html Most of this crew will be in Munsville too.
