I am searching for a board to make Extreme carving, but Iwould like a board like SWOARD but she is very expensive because I am a Canadian citizen , that,s why I,delike to fine a COILER board for half a price:argue: . BlueB Posted June 10, 2007 Report Share Posted June 10, 2007 Bonjour and welcome on Bomber! Yes, Coilers are one of the most aclaimed boards out there. There's link to their site from the Bomber's "link" page. They do make an EX carver, to the spec very similar to Swoard, but it is not listed on their site. You'll have to inquire with Bruce Warsava himself. There's couple of people here who rode the Coiler EX and Swoard too, you'll probably find some info by using the search function. I believe that someone mentioned that Coiler EX is a bit stiffer then Swoard. However, you can extreme carve on quite a few other boards, some people can do it on just about anything. Derf Posted June 11, 2007 Report Share Posted June 11, 2007 Hi Redia and welcome to Bomber. I never rode a Coiler, but I hear they are among the best boards. Coiler does make an Extreme Carving board, so does Donek (the Blade model). Coiler has the advantage of being canadian, so you get a good price. With the exchange rate, Donek may not be so bad. Like BlueB said, use the "Search" button to find some more discussion for these boards. On a sidenote, I saw a Swoard once at Le Relais, but I didn't speak to the guy, so I don't where he got it and how much he paid for it. Salut Redia et bienvenue sur Bomber. Nous some quelques-uns à parler français ici. Dans la section QC du "Ride Board", on jase souvent en français, mais dans les autre sections, on s'en tient à l'anglais pour être compris de tous. So, if you don't mind, I'll continue ansvering in English... Yes, Swoard comes in 3 flexes. Maybe a "stock" Coiler EX was stiffer then medium Swoard, or something like that. However, Bruce (Coiler) is a custom builder, so when you tell him your weight and level of aggression, he'll make the suitable board flex for you. Another option is Prior's Pen Blackjack, 21cm wide board with Titanal construction. Also not listed on Prior's web site, as he makes it OEM for other guys. Il y a un bon bout d'attente j'ai passé ma commande en janvier. Bruce fait de très bon boards ! Tu devrais trouver quelqu'un qui parle anglais et l'appeler directement il va pouvoir te donner l'heure juste sur ce que tu veux, si peut le faire et bien sur combien de temps. One of Pens is on sale on Priors used and demo section (WCR Metal), it is unused and fixed by Prior due transportation damage, and has guarantee.It is taped as normal Prior and is not polished.
