Pow
Im going on vacation soon and I was wondering if anybody had any advice on how to take the longboard with me on the plane. Do you think they'll let me gate check it? If not how do i protect it as luggage?
Gecko
I travel a lot with a skateboard...I have a 34" pumping board that I usually travel with (soon to be replaced by a custom made by xxxguitarist) I use Grindking kingpins for easy breakdown and it fits in either of my suitcases. For a regular boards over 38" (I have 3) I take the trucks off and wrap the board in cardboard...trucks and wheels go in my suitcase. 38" or less goes into my Alva Skatebag with all the rest of my gear.
