Dutchcarver
Hi there, Just subscribed to this forum: interesting to see that carving in the <st1:country-region w:st="on">US</st1:country-region> seems to be much bigger than is in <st1>Europe</st1>! In the first week of June, we'll drive from <st1:city w:st="on">Denver</st1:city> to <st1:state w:st="on"><st1>Utah</st1></st1:state>, Interstate 70, for some holidays. Plenty of time! Does anyone of you know if some boarding is possible in some ski arias? Or will all the snow have gone? Thanks very much, Arthur The Netherlands<o></o>
big mario
But if the temps stay the way they are now there might not be very much snow left. mario

Cindy Kleh
We had a great winter for snowfall, but every year, it melts sooner. It's almost dry enough up here to mtn. bike! You should leave your equipment at home and just explore Colorado and Utah. But if you absolutely need to ride, Berthoud Pass will still have snow. You'd have to hit it just right (when it's soft but not dripping wet), and it would be more survival riding than carving, but ... it's free and the views up there are outstanding. JReiter
Arthur, I live in Steamboat along with a strong group of Snowboard Racers. Our coach is a ripping Dutchman named Thedo. If you are in our neck of the woods swing on by to talk shredding. Due to our lower elevation we will not have any snow. Justin

pebu
I'm so ready for summer. Bite your tongue!!! I've been ready for winter ever since my board started slicing through the soft snow and into the crap underneath.
Michelle
Yeah, but you don't have 9 months of winter and snow, and 3 months of "summer" - you probably have something similar to the opposite. We get snow 11 months of the year almost every year. For the 4th parade it almost always snows on us. By this time, we are all pretty sick of it and ready to be in shorts and flip flops. Sorry - I need the change of season! Believe me I'm not complaining, I absolutely love where I live and appreciate it every day, just less so when it's almost June and it is still 40F for the high of the day :o Come out here and get your fix - the Basin will be open for a while longer.
