johnstewart Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Burton Factory Prime Overall: 167cm Running: 147cm Waist: 18cm Sidecut: 12.3m This guy's been around the block. Had the base ground last season; it and the edges still in nice shape. There is a gouge in the middle of the base which could probably use some new ptex (but hey, you should be on the edges anyway, right?) Sims Carve II Overall: 167cm I don't know the other stats, but looks like a 21cm waist and I'm guessing a smaller sidecut radius. I bought it in mint condition years ago whilst trying to find a good do-it-all board. Never liked it; so it's been rarely ridden. Fairly stiff. Both would be decent learner boards. Much wider waist on the Sims, though, so you could start out with a less aggressive stance. I learned on this Burton, though. Once you get used to the high stance angles necessary (at least for my big feet), it really does want to carve naturally. Make me an offer.... johnwraynospam at gmail Quote
