Blackbird Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 That's the only thing I hate about fresh snow.. Digging the car out!!!:( Quote
tex1230 Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 why are you bothering with your car with that much snow? hike up a hill and hit it hard! Quote

wavechaser Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Hey Bordy - I ran into an old riding buddy of yours at a USASA SL/GS at Loon this past weekend. A cat named Kevin Blagys. Great guy and he was rippin' it up on course. Cool to see an "old time" alpine racer getting back into it. Hope to see him at some more races in the Northeast this year! If anyone out there is in the Masters (30-39) class in USASA...look out!! Quote
Bordy Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Blagys is The guy! He is how ever sandbaging if he is racing his age group! If you see him again tell him I said he is just scared of open class. Hope it was a good event at loon we had a race to the cup there a few years back! Fun hill. I used to love the park there a decade or so ago. Hope the event went well for yourself also! Quote
wavechaser Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 LOL...yeah, he actually rode up to the start and was acting kinda like a first timer. He asked me about how the whole class system was working, but said he registered Open class, (but they had already started about 15 minutes prior) because he though open class is where you go if you don't want to take points away from others. So I said "no it's for the top riders", and I convinced him to switch into Masters...then I watched his run...caught up to him on the chair back up and put the screws to him about his racing experience. He's a really great humble guy. Fleck beat him in the GS but only because Kevin blew out one run - Blagys won the SL. Yeah, nice fairly steep rolling race hill at Loon - the park is still killer but they need snow badly this year...no pipe yet. I had a good event for me (Legends div.) and got 6th overall in both races and won Legends. Kevin's coming up to Sugarbush to ride soon and I'm gonna pick his brain for racing tips. Quote

Maciek Posted January 25, 2007 Author Report Posted January 25, 2007 Brrrrhhh!!!! ?????COME'ON!!!....so Beautiful:p where is this place... The name of place shown on the building and car plates suggest somehere in Czech Republic or Slovakia, but I am not sure. Slavic languages are so similiar that it is so easy to make a mistake. Quote
