Guest chrismcq Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 For Sale: A 'like-new' (used for 3 half-days in soft snow) Donek Freecarve FC1 171 custom olympic-core; the board was constructed with 4mm of taper so that it releases from turns with greater ease (good for some racing). It has a metallic topsheet. This is a $1000 board, willing to part with it for $US350 plus shipping (from Canada to the us this is about $40). An incredible board. I injured myself early in the season + an newborn daugher = will not need the snowboard any time soon! The sale price is more a function of the second-hand board market than the real value of the deck! I can send pictures if needed. Cheers, Chris Quote
Civ Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 e-mail sent. could you send pics to mikecividino@gmail.com? Quote
Guest azrcd5 Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Can you tell me the waist width? I'm guessing 18cm, but I'd love to hear that it was wider! This of course if it is still available. Quote
Guest zhekson Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 If U didn't sell this deck, I'd love to take it off your hands for my older brother, who lives in Siberia. Please let me know, what's up, whether or not I'm late. My name is Zhenya, I'm @ zhenya@kunst-camera.com www.kunst-camera.com is my sight. Hope to hear from U Z Quote

Art Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 He has alot of offers through e-mail not posted (mine included) and was supposed to get back with pics. My guess is it sold for more than posted here for good reason. Quote
pregnier Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 I own a this exact board as well and can't believe he is selling this for so little. I paid $900 cash for mine and wouldn't let it go for less than $900. Best board made and I have ridden every board on the market thanks to the SES. Quote
Guest chrismcq Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 Thanks for all the interest - I think that I have a buyer. Yes, inexpensive - and also yes to 'Pregnier' - a great board... but not the model I have, a 10.2 stiffness is too much for me. I have ridden the standard FC (stiffness of 7 on Sean's scale) and that would be my preferred top end on flex. If the deal falls through I'll re-post. One good turn deserves another... Quote
