Hi, I regularly get one run at the end of the day. Its almost completly empty and I am wanting to try to work on my technique. I think I have toeside figured out and I can get pretty low without a problem. It does feel like I am flexing the board alot as if I am turning almost by how much I move my feet in different directions. When I finish a hard turn I tend to pull it a bit more and pop up into the next turn. It feels like one fluid motion and I dont feel like I really move my weight. I am wondering if this is cross-under? or cross through? or wrong? I think I am flexing the board and springing back up. It does always seem like its sliding out mid way through though. Also heelside I feel like I can't turn as hard, although it feels like I am in the back seat a bit. I have a picture of a toeside, but its not available yet. I plan to do the norm tomorrow, what else can I work on? keep in mind I'm on a flexy freeride board and in softboots(need them for work) and a bit new at carving.

Search post on "heelside turns", add "chatter" maybe. There will be a mine of info. Heel side turns are for most people harder at first. Once you figure it out, heelsides will be your stronger side because the angulation is easier. Then you have to start working on toeside turns etc.

Enjoying beer and portland? Whats portland(do you mean the town, or am I retarded?). I do plan on going. I will be working a bunch of the days, but I live 20 miles from aspen so I'll be there.
