Allee Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 We tossed around the idea a while ago of setting up a "Resort Guide" where we could put in a writeup on a resort - what we liked, what we didn't, what runs are the best for carving on, whether the food is any good, best drinking hole, etc. Did this ever get any further? Because this would be a BIG help to anyone looking to travel out of state (or even out of country!), and I think, probably a good resource for the rest of us. I know there are a couple of sites out there that do this, but they're not carve specific and generally, not all that helpful. Fin? We have board reviews, why not resort reviews? Quote
LeeW Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Yeah, World Snowboard Guide used to have site that will tell you if the ski resort would cater to freestyle, freeriding, -AND- carving type of riding. Dont think they have carving option anymore. www.worldsnowboardguide.com Quote
lstzephyr Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Well if anyone would like a review of Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Or Buttermilk I can definetly do that. I have also been to snowshoe, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Crested Butte, Keystone, and I am going to winter park next monday. The only one I can say I know up to date info are the Aspen/Snowmass 4 mountains. Quote
