How do i get flash player to work again??

Any one familliar with this?? Im not sure what happened but seems that most(but not all) Flash sites dont work for me and I cant quite figure out why, like I cant watch most you tube vids, but I can see some of them, but many of the sites I go to, tell me to download the latest flash player(which I've done a dozen times, just to be sure), I've checked my security settings, still no dice.

Hmmm. well I clicked on it and an it asked me to Download the shockwave player, which I did, and can now see that, but I checked the usual sites, and still no go.

However, on that link you sent, below the shockwave part, there's the link to download the "latest flash player" I clicked that link, and it brought me to the Download page for the Mac version of the player. Wonder if that means anything?

Shockwave and Flash, although similar are not the same.

I would suggest you unistall Flash and Shockwave completely (from Tools->Manage Add-ons...), reboot, and then reinstall it.

Do you use Spybot? This has an optional setting that will not let you watch flash videos
