Sims Burner w/ positive setback question

Hello,

I have a Burner 167 that I purchased for this season and yesterday was the first day I rode it. I didn't realize that the board inserts were placed far forward than I use to. I had many problems riding this thing because of its sensitive edge hookup.

Came back home and looked at the board and says that setback=+3.5cm:confused: Instead of negative setback, it says positive. So I measure them up and see that the insert pack is placed 3.5cm forward from the center of its running length. I'm thinking about placing my binding centered. I was wondering if this will hurt the board since I heard that the board has a weak tail.
