Dave Winters Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 My little guy is starting to rail on his Nitro 140 but even that is way too long for him. What's the shortest square tail board you've seen? Bryan? And does anybody have anything shorter than 140 to sell or loan? Thanks in advance, Dave Quote
bobdea Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 burton was making Kid's primes for awhile right down into the 140s Quote
jdgang Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Klug got a copule of 135 left https://www.klugriding.com/product-view-0s-2c-10i.html Quote
nekdut Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Burton made a 135cm Factory Prime. Klug Riding still has a few: https://www.klugriding.com/product-view-0s-2c-10i.html Doh, jdgang beat me to it :) Does anyone remember the manufacturer of the short board that was given away at SES 05? I believe that was also a 135cm. Quote
Chris Houghton Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Oxygen used to make them down to 118, nice widths and flex was perfect for kids. Your only hope now is to look for used on ebay. Quote

Isn't it Rabanser or something like that? Edit: Yes it is. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=2710 http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=8590 Quote
Mallard_with_a_Gun Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 Kind of posting blind here, as I don't know much about alpine boards(yet). The info isn't all that great either. Hope it helps! http://cgi.ebay.com/NIDECKER-RAVE-SNOWBOARD-w-bindings-alpine-race_W0QQitemZ140068525560QQihZ004QQcategoryZ36297QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
ar(angel Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Here's a pic of my son with his. I later bought one of Klug's 135 FP's, but sold it recently due to him only riding his 148cm Renntiger now (he's 11 now). They're still out there, I saw one of the Rossi's recently, you just have to keep looking.... Quote
kipstar Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 arf angel I know you have a kid, but man that is a cool photo; tell ya boy he looks friggin cool :0-) Also tell him I have a 185 oxygen, if he is wanting to trade up to a longer board :-) Quote
ar(angel Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 This was last season, him with his Burton, and than later in the season when he was riding his Renntiger. He was actually carving a little bit by the end of last year. Hoping to get him to be more agressive this season so I can get some better pic's. He'll be 12 in March....That's my boy! Quote

Thanks in advance, Dave Hi Dave, sorry , I did not see this post until just now. Please email me directly with questions. I do not recall smaller alpine gear. The smallest free-ride is in the area of 90cm. 135cm is about as small as I recall in alpine? Wish I could be of more help, this is definitely a cause I would like to get behind. How wide would he need? It might be possible to mod a longer board if the width is ok? I suppose it is a bit early to think about a Tinkler? Perhaps we could build the World's Smallest Alpine Board? Good fun. Keep my eyes peeled. Bryan Quote

Dave Winters Posted January 7, 2007 Author Report Posted January 7, 2007 I bumped the wrong thread. My bad. So; Thanks all for the responses. No luck yet on finding anything shorter than the 140. He's doing really well on it but he looks like Doug Dryer or something on the thing.... Quote
