Hi all, I was setting up this set of Raichle X-bones that I bought last summer. I only got a chance to try them now and I realize that one of the Intec heel blocks is missing (it was only attached with a single cant plate). As is I think I will end up with a fair amount of unintended toe lift. Problem is I'm leaving for Kirkwood on Wednesday and probably won't be able to get a replacement part in time (who still sells these?)

Update: I notice the screws on one of the blocks are shorter, in the photos you see only black heelblock and three cant shims. Can anyone confirm to me that there is a second heelblock in the set? Maybe there are just suppose to be that way?

I was wondering if I could just use a lot of steel washers or something to make up for the difference in height (and suggestions, I can go to OSH to buy stuff).

Thanks

The block is for lift, I believe, and without it you are "level"

keep in mind that in intec systems, the heel doesnt sit flush with the bottom of the binding. weight rests on the pins. I had F2 bindings and if the bail/intec mechanisms were mounted flush, boot level was flat.

if I understood you correctly.

I think I will try that. Thanks.

Yes, only one thick block and then some thinner shims comes with bindings.
