I wouldn't say that he just doesn't have the tools to beat Chuck. I wish someone would I hate watching his fights they are boring to me. I like firghts with a good mix of standup and more important to me ground. Chuck's "avoid the ground skills" are soo good that he always seems to dictate the tempo and keeps fights standup...I prefer ground. Tito is also past his prime and he's nevr really recovered from the bus accident though he's a better fighter now he doesn't have the drive that he had before.

I'm a judo guy so I like to see them go to the grould too but really thats not what it's about, capitalizing on where you know you can win and keeping the fight on your terms is the only thing that matters.

watch a Judo match recently? lately like MMA it's about doing what is necessary not to loose. Gone are the days of Judoka who win decisivly it's all about not taking any chances and not-loosing. MMA hasn't reached that point yet and I hope it doesn't but Chuck is one of those not-loosers. his fights are just boring to watch and have been since he learned how to stay safe

guys. want to see real MMA fights where people arent fighting "not to lose"

watch PrideFC. Last nights Shockwave show was badASS. Oh my GOD melendez and kawjiri went toe to toe pretty much start to finish, Barnett/Nog was awesome, and Hunt ALMOST took out Fedor!

was very disappointed with Hansen's loss, but...WOW.

I always feel a sense of unfulfillment with UFC shows, but rarely with Pride.

I used to watch Pride all the time in Japan, it's pretty normal to see it on TV. then again my wife met Bob Sapp in a restaurant in Yokohama. Fight not to lose isn't acceptable in Japan and they boo stalling bigtime. They would prefer everything either end as a huge knockout or end with a submission on the ground. Defensive fighters are not treated well there
