Guest brian_cravin_carvin Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 I have two boards looking for new homes: Rossi VAS Race 168 cm; 11.8 m. radius sidecut; a few small nicks on the sidewall and a few very small top sheet scratches; faint impression from the rubber base of the Rossi bindings; great for recreational riding and new racers; US$150, CDN$175 Nitro GTX 168 cm; 9.5 m. radius SL sidecut; very lightly ridden with a few very small topsheet scratches on tail and blemish from front binding; lots of camber and very reactive; US$200, CDN$230 Rossi Race Carbon bindings, currently mounted on Rossi board but I will sell them with either board, available with a pile of wedges for customizing: US$150, CDN$175 Both boards have excellent bases and edges, hand race tuned to 1/2 deg. base bevel, 2 deg side bevel, structured and keeper waxed. Pictures of tops and bases available. Shipping is extra (shipping from Ontario, Canada). Quote
fscott Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 What year is the Rossi? I'm looking for the red-white-blue top sheet with the white base . Thanks to email some pix to skopp2000@hotmail.com Quote
Guest brian_cravin_carvin Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 fscott, The Rossi board is a 2000 board, blue and red with white accent on top sheet (I believe the last version of this board) with a black base. Although it is a 2000, it was used only three seasons, not too often (I was riding other boards plus I lost a season to an injury). I will get some pics out shortly. Thanks for your interest. Quote
pebu Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Just got myself one of those rossis. That is a nice lookin board. I've only logged 1 day carving on it, so I don't really know how it rides compared to other stuff yet. Quote
