Galen
Going there wednesday and Thursday. Would like to get on my new Donek and #2. Coverage seems good, anything I should look out for? Not going off trail, for sure.
timinor
Galen, I was at T-line on Monday. Rode on all the main runs and didn't see or hit any rocks. The coverage seemed pretty safe. The snow and groom was really nice for carving. I don't know about Ski Bowl.
Galen
Thanks, I think I'll be ok, was mostly concerned about T-Line as I've seen more exposed rocks there then SkiBowl.
P06781
Rode magic mile today and saw a few rocks but where easy to see. The coverage is really pretty good. Jim
timinor
I was up today, Wednesday, and the coverage is still good. There are a few isolated spots to watch for. The snow softened since the temp was around 40 but the snow stayed good and it was good carving. I didn't see anyone up there on hardplates. Galen
Thanks for the info! Skibowl was nice, a little varible today. temps in the mid 40's, though still pretty icey in a few shaded spots. T-Line tommorow. My new Oly Donek is giving me fits on toeside, it's a compleatly different ride from Coilers.

I find I can ride Coilers as shipped but Doneks need a little beveling before they ride to their potential.
Galen
Galen, did you give it a tune after you got it? I find I can ride Coilers as shipped but Doneks need a little beveling before they ride to their potential. I didn't, thought that might have something to do with it, but whats wierd is I'm having to shift my weight forward to intiate toesides more then I normaly do. this board is rated 3.6 stiffness, but it seems to ride stiff as my coiler which was made for someone 35 lbs more then me(75) May have to fiddle with the stance width maybe move forward a bit. I'll get a tune when I get back to Oly. Oh boy, more fiddleing!
timinor
I was up today, Thursday, and it was so-so. It froze overnight. Ice balls over some tilled fluff over a layer of ice. It was variable and definitely not hero snow. Also, there are starting to be some rocks floating around. It's not bad but I wouldn't bring out a new board until there is more snow.
