bjvircks Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 If my memory serves me 1/2 way decently... a klister wax is the opposite of a glide wax and different from a typical kicker wax. Klister is tacky (no... not tasteless like wearing stripes & plads together or talking loudly during a wedding). Klister really grips the snow. I like the idea of putting klister on one ski another idea I have is to carry an inexpensive but heavy cable and padlock along. (not a lightweight retractable cable ski lock) At lunchtime I'd 'help' my 'friend' (who is Irish, by the way... OK if we bash Irish??) by keeping his gear safe and sound, locked to a mid mountain rack. Ken... thanks for your thoughts about being sensitive to racial issues. I would like to believe that as a whole, we've got a pretty decent and accepting bunch of folks here. Now how about we let this go and get back to ragging on idiots who cut us off on the slopes.
