I was in Thredders this year for the Aus Airline ski week and got a comment from a Softie saying "Duuuude how old school is that??" I'm like "Duuuude this gear is newer than yours!!!" :) Had to laugh though I quickly quenched that, cos' I was old enough to be his dad!!! What's your Fav resort in Aus?? I'm a Hotham fan myself...... I get a few of those kind of comments, but since there are not too many on a noodle that can ride as fast as me (95kg + helps a bit with momentum) they don't bother me too much. And besides, the guys I ride with have a chuckle but secretly think it is cool to be able to lay down a big arc. I'm a Hotham fan myself too (except this year when I bought a season pass - bad move). Buller is just an easy day trip from here. But Falls is definately the better carving mountain in Vic. Back on topic.... So when the robots take over, they'll think I'm one of them. Yes, they're snowboard boots. And don't call me "brah". Snowboarding is totaly misunderstood. You can't really drag your knuckles with soft boots. No, I don't race. Races usually have competition. Just because I don't have a tail, doesn't mean you can stand on the back of my board.
