Hans
I do all my boards and skis myself, except for the base bevel. Which tool do use yourself or do you recommend? And what files do you use with your base bevel tool? I was thinking about this one from SkiMan. Greets, Hans. naamloos.bmp
Bordy
Hans, I have borrowed that base tool on the road before it worked very well and was easy to use and adjust. If you like to change your base bevel its seemed great. I always ride the same couple of bevels so I have a few set guides. The ski man has nice little rollers for guides. The edge tool seemed nice as well. the only thing I noticed was we had to use base tape (some guides are not as avesive) because the rollars track the same line over and over. Mike T
I have a different model SkiMan which is a fixed angle guide. I've had some trouble as noted on another thread with it slipping and overbevelling (thankfully not on one of my nicer decks so no big deal). I am just very careful with it now. SITO
Hi Hans, I have this tool and as Bordy said is a good tool, it work fine and easy for me. And the spares are cheap. Cheers!!
