Michael_A
Gord, I started boarding 3 years ago on a freeride setup then switched to Alpine this year. I have a K2 Union which is a decent freeride board with 26cm waist + Burton bindings; it worked fine for my size 13 feet. Send me an email if you are interested in the board and bindings -- I think each shoe size is another 1/4" in length so size 16 might only be 3/4" longer boot than what I was using. Phil
K2 made a board called the Trucker for a while. It was wider than the Fatbob. Might be able to hunt one up on eBay. If you can find a fat bob 176, it was actually the widest board they (ever) made. If you are looking shorter than that, the trucker was as wide as they went. boarderboy
Do any decent, Sorel-type boots come in a 16? If so how about a good "supportive" pac boot with Burton three-strap Torques for added stiffness? Not ideal but might get him on the road. cheers
