Derf
always wanted to try an oxygen APX. Wish they made it in say 175 or so I read somewhere the Oxygen APX had a foam core. Except burton...what is that a Stat 6? This is an Amp 6, follower of the M6 and precursor of the E Deck.

AaronG
whats the white board? The white board is the Oxygen APX, the longest I saw of one of those boards was a 163.

So...your saying the m6 snowboard is "kinda old"? I'll be testing out my "new" old board this year. How much are these boards at the recycling center going for? Not saying I condone pure capitolism and charging 10x what you paid..however getting good alpine boards to people cheaply is always a good thing. Or are they charging too much $ for them at the place?
DiveBomber
ok whats the red one?
BlueB
Red one is Mistral Sonic. Should be a good ride - Mistral became one with F2...
mr_roboteye
the asym and the mistral were $20 ea. (canadian$, to add insult to injury) the foam core oxygen APX was $45, I didn't even look at the amp6, sorry. I almost bought the mistral, but it was starting to delam between the feet on one side, so I skipped it. later, Dave R.
D-Sub
APX came in a 168, still short for me what was the length on that one? If you go back, Id be interested. Its a respectable all mountain board for a lighter less aggressive rider,a nd for that price shiiiit
mr_roboteye
the apx in the pic is a 158. red mistral is a 167. oxygen asym is a 160. The Vancouver ski swap is this coming weekend (Oct. 27th. to 29th.), so I will be there and not in Whistler unfortunately. Later, Dave R. D-Sub
thats a good board for a small guy or woman. Sure...foam core...whatever what was the condition on that one? shops like that are fun. I found my MLY 167 in one...never ridden...I got so excited...walked five blocks back to the laundry with a board in hand...snow hadnt fallen yet...that was a fun day. bobdea
the mistral sonics had one for a short while, good stuff, been so long, I wonder I'd still like them after riding more modern boards?
Bobby Buggs
I have a set of those black bindings, Fritchi Diamonds. I liked them back in
dano
They had a few of those apx's at a local shop about 8 years ago. I think the longest was a 168, but I'm not sure. I think the idea was to get the stiffness and flex pattern from the molded topsheet. ( see the big X and paper towell tube molded pattern? ) I would assume the foam core would not be a problem as it is with Rossis. I had that same o2 kr159 aysm and sold it to Cameron in sf I think. Nice picture, thanks!
