Back after four years! Great to see Andrea and Julian again and meet Jeremy (3DFX(?)) and Scott (Scott213). Conditions are perfecto. Going to wait out the probable snowfall tomorrow (and get a much needed massage and recovery day) and be back on the mountain on Tuesday. -- Greg

I'm here now. Leaving on Tuesday. Yes, you're right. They need snow. Only two groomed runs -- the longest -- Academy and Tollhouse (jibber-ville) but I got a lot of good runs in even with the limited run selection. It was a bit crowded but I've seen a lot worse at Summit. Lift op said they were going to groom some of the upper west side tonight. We'll see...

Got diverted to China Peak because of Christmas travel plans. Any one ever ride there?

Returning after two year hiatus. Planning on being at June this Sunday the 21st thru 23rd. Coverage looks a little thin, but June's fb page says they're opening the left side tomorrow. Gunsmoke here I come. -- Greg

Saw a lot of carvers up there today including but not limited to G-Carve, Pi and Ninedoors (?). Great snow. Started getting crowded @ 10:30 :( Great season opener. They were grooming the West side, but looks like it might be open tomorrow. -- Greg

The snow (or ice) on the ground is one thing. Riding in a blizzard is another. Just to clarify. Still keeping an eye on the forecast...

Depending on weather, I may not go up next weekend. I don't mind snow, but if it's wind-driven... I'll stay inside, thanks. I will definitely be up the next weekend though, probably Friday thru Sunday. -- Greg
