  1. My sole blocks are not anodized and don't have stickers. Other than that I don't think that there was any changes made before they went into production.
  2. I have a pair of TD3 Sidewinder prototype bindings that I would like to sell. I want to sell everything as one package so I will not be parting out anything right now. I have used them for 3 race seasons and 3 coaching seasons. E-Rings - two yellow (soft) and two blue (Medium) E-Pads - full set of Blue (medium installed) and 16 spare Blue e-pads Cants - one 0, two 3 and one 6 Center disks are 4 bolt pattern only Two spare heal bail's Reason for selling. I don't race anymore, moved into coaching and don't need something this intense/heavy. I have been out of the game for some time so I don't know how much it is worth and I haven't see any for sale so I am putting $400 plus shipping OBO on it. They are located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada so shipping will probably be needed. Email kristin @ snowboard nova scotia . ca
  3. I have a pair of sidewinder prototypes that I would be willing to sell. PM me for a price.
  4. I have/do de-tune my kesslers. My reason was for racing, it allowed me to do the drift and lock or the slarve what ever you want to call it. My way of de-tuning is to take a gummy stone and make 3 passes on the edge, where you start is personal preference, I did my nose from in between the 2 s' up and 2.5 inch's from the tail. The board is still sharp there its just looses the grabbyness
  5. only one post form this guy, im going to say april fools, i hope im wrong tho
  6. That plate is a Custom designed plate designed by the rider Mike Trapp aka Mtrappy on here
  7. Trappy won the Mens PGS and Mimi got 2nd http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/610.html?sector=SB&raceid=8715 http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/610.html?sector=SB&raceid=8714
  8. Each sole block has 2 pads, one on each side of the pin, 2X4=8. I weigh 155lbs, I am a very aggressive racer and the way I have mine setup is blue under the blocks and yellow erings. I have tried blue and blue but didnt get the flex I wanted and yellow and yellow I found it was too much. hope that helps your decision
  9. The benefit over the normal td3 is the extra lateral flex that the toe and heal blocks give. Most of the world cup riders are using F2's because the plastic flex's giving them extra lateral flex, some riders even go as far as having the bindings dangerously loose to get even more lateral flex out of these f2's. The sidewinders do what the f2's do with out sacrificing safety.
  10. I used these all last season, they are amazing in every condition once you dial them in to how you ride. They are by far the most versitile binding out there because you can make them amazingly soft for a -100lbs person and stiffen them up for a person +250lbs. As for the height, I believe that fin has said that they are not much taller then the td'2 and f2's. The step in issue is that a whole new top receiver would need to be made, you couldn't/wouldn't want to bolt a step in platform onto the top receiver because you would hinder the movement of the binding. The step in receiver would need to be made out of steal as well because the fin tec would destroy a aluminum receiver thats just my 2 cents, hopefully fin has more answers for you guys at some point
  11. The board does not have standard inserts, it was discussed in his thread in the spring
