  1. Cafe, had a great time riding with you before the crowds hit. Nice meeting Anne and the rest of your crew as well. Hopefully I'll see you before the season's out. Have fun tomorrow!

  3. Sorry I missed the fun. Had some work pop up last minute and couldn't take the day off as I'm happy just to have a job in this economy. Hopefully the seasons not over and we can still get some turns in, otherwise definitely next year.
  4. Just let me know the date. Ward probably won't make it as he injured his knee earlier in the season. Buggs, hope you can make it!
  5. Sweet board Greg! I hope to make it out to Blue at least once this year to check it out first hand. Take care

  9. Sorry to hear about the injury and I hope you have a speedy recovery. As for me, doc says I can start walking next Wednesday. Give me a call when you have a chance.
  10. Sorry to hear about your injury. I wish you a speedy recovery. Did you hear that I broke my left tibia/fibia that Sunday after we rode together at Windham? I was riding with Ward, Had and Decker and just lost my heal edge and skidded into the trees finally hitting one. I had surgery last Thursday to insert a rod into my tibia and now I'm recovering. Just curious, how did you tear your ACL? Good luck!
  11. Joe, The rod will be permanent and would not come out unless medically required, infection for instance. I was told that with the rod I would be able to bear some weight on the leg immediately. With a cast I understand it will be 2-3 months before I could put weight on it. Thanks, Prentice
  12. Thanks for the message Buggs. I was riding down Lower Wolverine with Ward, Had, and Decker making some nice turns along the right side of the trail. Next thing I know I lose my heal edge and just started skidding on my butt towards the tree line and came to a stop after hitting a tree just above the boot cuff. I pretty much knew it was broken immediately despite not hearing any crack or feeling much pain. Both my tibia and fibula were broken however the tibia is in perfect alignment so I was told that casting is an option. I saw two orthopaedic surgeons today and both recommend inserting a titanium rod in my tibia. Has anyone else out there had a similar experience with either a full leg cast or a titanium rod? I'm leaning towards surgery as it is less likely that the bone won't set/heal properly and I'll be back on my feet much sooner and I won't have to deal with a cast. Have fun at the ECES, I'm going to miss you guys!
  13. Awesome Had, I can't wait!!!!! Ward and I will be there bright and early Sunday for sure and maybe Saturday too. See you soon.
  14. That's awesome!!!!! I'm glad to hear that you're back. I must say it brought a tear to my eye when I saw you on skis a few weeks back. Ward and I will be at Windham on Sunday the 20th so let's hook up for some runs. Here's a pic of Pat rippin' it a few years back, back when he was ONLY 60: <img src="http://tinypic.com/299b0x" alt="Image hosted by TinyPic.com">
