  1. We had two feet of snow in the yard Saturday morning after the storm and it's pretty much gone. We are into the 60's all this week. But spring skiing and boarding is in full swing. Chair 2 parking lot was full yesterday by 9:00am. I had to park up the road a little bit. Heading up there this morning.
  2. Mike Aguirre here in Mammoth. Id be interested in riding with anyone coming up. I just got off the mountain. There is a very short window of time in the morning to carve. About 9-12. Then it's gets pretty soft. Here's my number 760-920-8271. My email: remodel@hushmail.com
  3. So I got a new pair of RC 8's, and trying to dial them in but I have a huge problem under my ankle on my right foot. It seems like the shell is digging the liner into that area. The left foot is ok. But I have done everything I can think of. Adjusted the can't, put in footbeds. Is it possible the shell has a defect? Am I going to have to get thermoliners?
  4. All you out there wearing body armor, I'm looking for recommendations and where to get it. I'm getting banged up this year, especially shoulders and ribs. Thanks, Mike
  5. Hey if you're still here today, (thursday) maybe you can give me a call so I can check it out. Id appreciate it. Mike 760-920-8271
  6. I've been looking at the Furberg since reading your post. It sounds like a well designed board. Never rally heard of it before, however, you recommend it?
  7. Wait…it was at Afton, not Welch. Been a while since I've been in Minnesota.
  8. Wondering if Dave is still around. I'm an old friend from back in the days at Welch in the early 90's. Taught me how to ride and race board. Ok, thanks.
  9. so I'm getting back into carving. What is the stubby thing in the middle in the pic to the left?
  10. Just throwing this out there. I was going to buy a new pair of Deeluxe 325's size 29 but seems like everyone is sold out except in Europe. So I'm open to a used pair.
  11. send me the details to: remodel@hushmail.com
  12. Thanks for responding Corey, I used to ride in the 90's so I'm familiar with getting boots that fit, especially ones where the heels don't ride up. I have L shaped feet. Not much of a top arch, so the heel support of the UPZ might be the better idea. I can probably find a boot fitter here in Mammoth to help with the fit. Which UPZ did you get? And really like them? Mike
  13. Now I'm thinking about getting a new pair of boots so I don't inherit someone else's mistake, or problem. Anyway, I see a lot of Deeluxe posts but not many about the UPZ. Your expert opinions would be appreciate.
  14. So would those be like size 13 1/2?
  15. Hi Bryan, Looking on the UPZ site they have a chart that shows 30 being US12.5 and 30.5 being US13. What size foot do you have? Mike
