  1. I was reading some of the threads in carving community when I came across a link to this thread. Thanks for posting it. I plan on driving to CO next weekend and will try to make it to Loveland on Saturday. I have been carving for several years now but am always looking for a group to carve with and learn from. I appreciate the invitation and look forward to meeting some of you. Hope to see you next Saturday. Thanks again for posting this.
  2. I ordered a bag and recieved it Tuesday. I have same comments as Ready 2 Carve. It's too big for what I want. It measures 2 meters. I paid 49$ including shipping. If anyone is interested in buying it from me I'd be happy. Thanks.
  3. 2006 Summit Expression Session Feb. 11-17th, Aspen, CO Hello all! I had such a great time at last years SES that I've hardly thought of anything but going to next one. I met a lot of great people and learned a lot too. I plan to be there the whole week. See you there! Rodger.

  7. It'll be nice to go to a resort where more than 2 runs are open. Due to lack of snow here, we have the choice of green or extra green. Of course, even on a good snow year we only have about 6 runs. Anyway, it'll be nice to meet some fellow carvers and hopefully learn a little more about carvilng!
  8. Here, we often see some of our Carhart buddies getting bucked off their skis. They claim they just decided it was time for a chew. By the time they regrouped, there is usually black stains all around. They must feel the need to mark the spot for future reference.
  9. Hello all. I'm not from Boulder but will be in CO at Christmas time so I hope you do make a list before then. I'd love to meet up with some of you. Have board, will travel. Thanks.
  10. Site looks great! I clicked on a couple of links and got an error on Keystone Skiing. It may have a bad link.:)
  11. Wow! You guys really gave a lot of suggestions. I going to have to try some of them as soon as we get some snow. Too bad I didn't read these comments last season. I find one of my biggest problems is my legs give out too soon. About the time I'm really carving well and having fun, my legs are too tired to continue. What kind of off season exercise do you think is best to strengthen your legs?
  12. Hi guys. I have been reading your comments on the carving style of the pics posted above. I think she looks great! As I'm relatively new to carving, I haven't really developed a "good style" yet. I hope to meet some of you carvers at SES05 this year and maybe you can show me first hand your preferred style. Thanks for converstation.:)
