Attention all hardbooters: Found Performance Downhill in Hampton Falls NH. just a stones throw across the Mass/NH boarder. I was looking for a F2 silberphile. The owner of the shop Eric had one comeing in for his own personal riding but not for sale. Today while at Wachusett Mt riding my Volkl RT my cell phone rang. It was Eric informing me that the 162s at his supplier were all sold out for the season but if I really wanted one he would let me have the one he just got in for himself. He even took my Donek in trade for what I feel was a fair price. Spent today at WA WA 2/7/06 New snow on Smith Tenth & Connifer very nice. Plan to be there again tomorrow. Look for white Honda Goldwing with snowboard rack parked next to handicap spots. Hope to see some carvers out there.

If you liked your volkl skis you would love a volkl ren tiger. Very nice GS board. I ride a 168 and a 173. You could get away with plates and use your old ski boots to get you started. I would not suggest softies on a board this narrow. Good Luck

Hope Powder Princess has found some POW this season, I havn't. Do try the suggestion of trying your plates on your free style board. I learned that way then got alpine setups. Old Fart On Board

I used to ride the same front & rear but find that by going a little steeper on the back I can tuck my back knee in behind the front for more speed.

My son put blizzaks on his & loves them. He bought them mounted on new subaru wheels so if you are looking to swap tires every season he has a set of subaru steel wheels for sale cheap, they wouldn't fit his car.

Burton alp 169 for $ 125.00. I also could meet at Wachusett since I work there. Board is like new only used five or six times. Never had a tune because it of such low mileage. I don't think you could tell the base from a new one. Tom in Marlboro
