Boots will be sold with an additional (harder) set of springs The shell of the 350ies is slightly softer than the 900s, but still perfect for EC. Price is 499 € plus shipping Shell size E
  3. Some years ago I had the chance to hold a little "Ectremecarving"-Training (you might call it "Eurocarving" or "Laydown basics" also). Unfortunaltely all text is German, but you might enjoy whatching anyways...
  4. Sölden, Austria, Rettenbach glacier. World cup slope lower section, something like 10:30 I think. It takes you about 20 minutes ba gondola to get there from the "winter skiing resort" and everybody was sooo happy, to stay there with pretty good April's conditions. I was happy, too... This is, what we did... :) Tom
  5. Yes, me. Liked it. Perfectly predictable and relyable. No idea, what style one might to have adapted... might be more lively ;) skywalker
  6. Pictures! - great rides with some hints: Who, where, equipment and maybe the riding technik, that halped him to achieve what we see. - You know the reef girls? Some chicks on boards (but nothing about girls wear please!) - reviews (boards, boots, bindings, clothing, gloves). I like comparisons! skywalker
  7. burton may be uncool or not, but this tool for sure is cool. skywalker
  8. There is a lever on the intercharger, so it can be turned around (change angles, switch from regular to goofy) without demounting. I had one of these, was always a bit of movement in them. Sold them because of the very very big footprint and binding overhang. skywalker
  9. I very much like the Uvex Goggles. I got a pair of superhelix and supersonic last winter, and they fit my rather narrow face very well. As far as I can see atm, the advantage of the superhelix is just the better design. Lenses: Both of mine are mirrored. The superhelix is my sunshine goggles with lightmirror blue, just for the looks, and as ist is a great lense IMHO (polarised, mirrored, not too dark). I bought the supersonic only for the lightmirror orange lens, which is without a doubt the best lens I ever had on my nose. It's polarisation works great and I can see a lot of usually invivible things on flat light. For some pics see here skywalker
  10. Congratulations! That bike looks great, I promise, you will have a lot of fun! Funny by the way to meet a fixed gear rider on bomberonline. Here is, what I did last winter: more regards skywalker
  11. it would have been some years ago. Today i know: whomen come and go, boarding will stay. Although I might survive one or even some winters without carving, I would immediately know what to do with a women, who forces this decision. So without hesitating I vote for my board(s) in the situation discriped in the first post. I's like to add something to the answers above: Obviously everyone of those, who voted for spouse did this, because their are totally sure that she would not di this... so maybe this doesn't count ;) skywalker
  12. I did not take a ppic of this board, as it's obviously not very beautyful ;). But I will do so within the next days. skywalker
  13. Crazy Banana back in 1989. I don't know, if there was a Name for this model, it came in cuple of ugly designs. Mine was with the dark topsheet with some pink and green in it, base was (like on all these boards I think) white with a giant banana wearing sunglasses. This one I bought used but almost new just before christmas, and I still have it in my quiver (To be honest, I never sold any of my boards, which I rode for some time). skywalker
  14. Why? I know some guys using their Kesslers for free carving. This should not be a ptoblem at all, as these boards are custom made as well as the others mentioned. I had some email-exchange with hansjürg (kessler), and he's sure, that he would be able to build the perfecr weapon for a crazy carver. I have to add, that I do not own a Kessler, which is to be honest causen mainly by the price ;) skywalker
  15. Hey Bernhard, I got something for you: Guess what I did for two days on Sölden opening at beginning of November?! ;) And of course I did not pay for her lift ticket, but she was very thankful after two days of training suggestions... Und: Nein, Du kriegst nicht ihre Telefonnummer! Best regards skywalker
  16. Hi, of course there is one voting option missing: She pays for the lift tickets. ;) In fact girls usually start asking me, if I would mind go snowboarding with them. If I say "mmaybeee" often enough, they start offering me to pay for the lift ticket, if I offer some carving training. I always refuse that, if I'm interested in her. If not, she has to pay the lift ticket to get a training (snowboarding of course, not what you might think). skywalker
  17. I guess, you will win the "most posts in a given time" award... :D skywalker
  18. Hello Chris, Hello oldvolvosrule! Thanks for your offers, you recieved mails :) skywalker
  19. Maybe I was wrong... the wider version must have been the 20 cm. 18cm was narrow version, but 20 ist, what I am looking for. Thanks. skywalker
  20. The German word Schreck means fear / shock, in this name full with misspellings, the missing h in ghost is no surprise. So my dictionary tells me, he's an anglo-greman buggaboo *LOL* Tom
  21. Hi, as I finally found a cheap way to bring a board to Europe, now I'm looking for a FP 173 (RS) with about 22cm waist width. Ich anybody still has one in good conditions, please make me an offer. I'd also be interested in one (or two) good pair(s) of burton bindings for the board. Thanks a lot! Best regards Tom
  22. Also quite boring: I was asked to give my name... and so I did. Skywalker
  23. Reading every post of these, thinking of you every day, I'm sure, I'm not the only one out there. Maybe many of us just read and keep you in mind, so I wanted to let you know about it. My thoughts and best whishes are with both of you! Tom
