  1. Complete set up for sale. Donek Razor 170 with Burton T3 bindings. Boots are Deeluxe Tracker 325 size 10.5 US, 28.0 Mondo. Everything is in great condition. It was a backup / freeride setup when i was not racing. Hoping to get it out of my closet and onto the feet of someone to shred. $400 for the whole lot and I would prefer to sell it all together. I am located in Salt Lake City and can work out shipping with the buyer. Feel free to ask any questions I am open to offers. Thanks
  2. I have been in a similar situation as OP. Slalom race last year, and the tightest gate set i have been through on my plank, anyway nose slid out of first gate and face hit the stubby at 20+ mph=shattered goggles and nose. Had a race the next weekend and wore my full-face helmet from my motocross days, which is quite heavy and awkward for snowboarding(large loss of peripheral vision) My concern was that since the helmet has a "beak" and i were to fall on that it would impose a large amount of forces on my neck=bad. For the speeds most guys here ride if one were to get a full face helmet a neck brace (such as ones worn in dh or mx) .
  3. I feel like i maybe going off the deep end here but my question is has anyone managed to get a pair of deeluxe 325 to fit into a pair of ski bindings. In my opinion it has to be possible some way as the only difference i have noticed on the bottom of mine to ski boots is that the bottom is not completely flat all the way but rather raised at the toe and heal. Now if there is some way to raise up a two piece ski binding so that it can be at the proper height for binding activation. I think that would be pretty cool to be able to swap out from alpine board to skis. Poor college kid here trying to spread my dough thin. Thanks.
  4. I also have an donek razor as my hard-boot set up that i use for really digging trenches, but as for my set soft boot board (Unity Pride) i can hold an edge through the choppiest of chop. Here's a thought i just had on stance when I'm doing squats in the gym i find it more comfortable to have a stance similar to how i ride (slightly wider than shoulders and ducked). But that is negating lateral movement / forward lean when riding, so i can imagine that the back knee is under some unnecessary torque when there is heavy forward lean and heal side. Then again im not at all trying to euro carve with those angles, the most i do is some knee drag and butt drag, toe side and heal side respectively. I will have to look into a set of risers this year and start angling back.
  5. **** Warning Soft boot Content **** Oi folks, I currently got some criticism about my binding angles when i took my board in to get base grind before the season. I currently run approx +28 and -21 degrees on my soft boot board that i use for just cruzing and hitting some booters, and was wondering when when is too much enough. I was told that this will destroy my knees (ACL,MCL and knee caps). So my question what is the negatives about running big angles. I have been playing around with my setup for years and am always willing to make a change, but as of now this setup works the best for me as it keeps my toes from hanging over and allows me to land switch and keep on cruzing comfortably. Cheers.
  6. Guess ill have to find one of my skiing buddies to let my try but their's will probly be more freestyle skiing oriented boots.
  7. Just tossing this idea of mine out there and seeing what there is to be said. I am soon going to be purchasing a pair of skis for touring and back country shenanigans. The idea is to buy a pair of Fulltilt boots so that i can still use them for digging trenches on the fresh groom then go clip in and skin out the back gate. Anyone use these boots before? I have done some research on the 3 piece design and it seams pretty robust. And they also do look pretty badass. Cheers.
  8. This is a gold mine, PM sent, would like to know prices and more pics if possible.
  9. I am a current student at The Ohio State university and ride at Mad River on the regs, still new to the forum and figuring things out.
