  1. Well I as playing an online game " Pimp Wars " a few people were playing at work also and we were doing some butchering ( i work in a restaurant ) and we all were throwing names around for the "Gang". Well I liked T-Bone, but figured it was taken. I changed the spelling to match a motorcycle back protector that I have. It stuck when I knocked a buddy of mine off the local go kart track and became permanent when I T-Boned a drunk driver that ran a stop sign, putting me in the hospital fo 10 days. I use the same on line name everywhere. Gene

I did the penguin school and it is basically a day of showing you the line on the track not a lot of "riding tools" or drills that get worked on. If your looking for skills I would look into a Keith Code school they actually give you drills and skills to work on and really are quite good i am sure there are others that are excellent as well. I have been doing some days with the team Pormotion group this year and have been enjoying that a lot especially since I just bought an Aprilia RS 250 for my track bike. I have a ducati 851 but that is not nearly as much fun on the track as the rs is. You gotta love a 300lb 2 stroke!!!
  3. No other gears........ welll I know the rule books say only one gear allowed and no brakes. There are not any hills ( other then going up the banking ) the races are short enough that you nearly go flat out so you put the ratio that gets you in the sweet spot. I ran between 88-92 inches at T-town when i used to go. It is just the pure form of the sport. Most races don't really start but just sort of roll off and build, rare does anyone attack at the line. I'm not sure I really have a good answer it really is a hell of a time. You get out here with 10 other guys for a scratch race and jsut crank it up, sweeping around the banking at speed is really something that must be done to understand.
  4. well a few years ago ( 6-7?) wasn't ferrari sort of in the non place group? then Schumi hopped over and joined them and soon they were winning everything... he has not looked back since Rossi did turn some quick laps and isn't there going to be a third car next year?? Maybe for him?? I don't really think so but it could be cool. If he goes four wheels it by his own admittance would be in a rally car which he also had a test in ...he was fast there too fast is fast, doesn't really matter what it is that they drive.
