  1. Thanks for the great replies. Rob, that sounds like a pretty good set I'll send you a message. I'll put Nakiska on the agenda!
  2. Hi everyone, I've been inactive for a while on this forum but recently moved back to North-America. I ended up in Banff and got a job at Sunshine Village. I've been looking around but it seems that there aren't any hard boot rentals in this area. When I was living in Oregon a few years ago Bryan (oldsnowboards.com) was kind enough to lend me some gear. I was hoping I could find someone in this area that would do the same? I don't mind paying for it but fortunately don't have enough money to buy a whole new set. Back home I'm used to riding a F2 Silberpfeil. Mondo size would be around 29.5 to 30. I'm 6'2" and weigh around 185 lbs. Anything not soft boot would be great. Thanks in advance
  3. I will be going to Meadows this Saturday. Got to loan some alpine gear, many thanks to Bryan! Anyone else going up this weekend?
  4. Meadows is opening tomorrow! Is anyone else going?
  5. Bryan, that's great. Thanks a lot
  6. Keenan, that's a shame. I stumbled upon some alpine clinics on Mount Hood and was hoping that alpine snowboarding was common around here. I guess it's a rare phenomenon anywhere. Brian, thanks. I filled out my profile and messaging is turned on. Little info about me: I'm from Europe, studying in Hillsboro, Oregon. Back home I've got a F2 Silberpfeil with F2 titanium bindings and DeeLux shoes. Mondo size would be around 29.5 to 30. I'm 6'1" and weigh around 185 lbs. As for riding style, if there's any gear I could rent or borrow, I'd be extremely happy. All is better than a soft board. It's nice to see there's a few enthousiasts around! Thanks for the help. Stefan
  7. I've been searching for quite a while, but I haven't been able to find anything.. Does anyone know a place around Portland where I can rent hard boots and a board? Thanks in advance
