  1. ....I thought that was you riding alone on Central. Can't miss someone riding plates at Hyland. Yup.....Troy was coaching on Monday. Patrick missed Wed and Thurs, but is going with everyone to Wild for gate training on Saturday (still not enough snow to set at Hyland). They are at Wild training from 2 - 5. I will be there to rip Patrick off the hill at about 4:15.....Christmas party.

Are you going to race at Welch next weekend? If not, come watch. Sunday is always the best day....Dan's Dive is the hill....ending at the bar. Can actually wait inside right up until the start. Always fun.

Come sit in with the team one night....I'm sure Troy or

Karl would not mind. Maybe they could talk you into the "masters program" that's starting soon on Wednesday evenings (when there is no freestyle).

  2. ....hope to see you and Kevan making it to junior worlds.

Call Mimi on her cell....she is in MN now visiting her sponsor, The House. Maybe she can find an extra 173 or 177 in the wharehouse.

Turn on your email or respond to me via email. Maybe we can help.

  3. ....especially considering the lighting conditions. I should have come up with you on the hill to have gotten some tips....my D70 just did not cut it with the light.

As Phil said, thank you so very much for supporting all of the riders....especially the younger riders that are so very important to the continuation of this sport.

  4. ....you might want to call as Wavechaser said....the boards are almost gone. Some of your kids might appreciate the 151 SL of 168 RS. The largest board left is a 173.....the 177s and 183s seem to be gone. Great bindings though.

Hope to see you guys at some USASA races this year at Welch or Wild Mountain.

  5. Thanks for the reply. My dad placed the order today. 173 WCR Metal with rounded tail. I cant wait until the slopes open on November 3.....it's going to be a great year! Based on your comments, I think that I'll stick to PTC for my tunes! :)

I'll see you in Tahoe at Nationals in April.

  6. ....we hope to see you up here in the Twin Cities this year. Last year there was a Carving Cup at Buck Hill....hopefully there will be another here this December. Are those Bombers working well, I hope?

Patrick's getting a new Prior this year and I am sure he would love showing it off at a Sunday Buck session.

Your bindings are doing well....on the board of a 12 year old that did well at Nationals last year....thanks again.

  7. ....5'8" and 108 lbs and 14 years old.

D-Sub....I as well read frequently over the the first season or two that you had to be very careful with these boards. But my father spoke to Garrett today, one of my past coaches that rides with Phil Fell and he feels that the boards have come a long way. You have to be careful, he said, especially as it relates to the rigidity of your bindings and the rubber dampening pad between the bindings and the board. I doubt that at my weight I'm likley to do much to snap the board like you heard about the early Kesslers. he watched a kid younger than myself ride one a few weeks ago in Chile and said that it handles very well....surprisingly responsive to the kid's size and weight.

Wannabe - thank you for the links to the articles.

Art....Garrett says the same about the board...an amazing ride. He believes that in the next couple of years everyone on the WC will have some form of a Titanal board.....a very intuitive board, especially if the bindings, boots and board are set up properly to work together.

I guess I better hope that the wheather holds up long enough for the grass to need mowing for a long time! :)

  8. I Am on the verge of ordering a new GS board for the upcoming season, but im having difficulties deciding over the prior WCR and WCR metal series. (I am 5'8" tall and weigh 108 lbs. Chris Prior will be softening the board for my weight. I currently ride a 168 Donek Pilot). I was just wondering if any one could tell me If there is a large difference between the two when it comes to ice and ruts? Is it worth the extra $200....what will I notice? Also if anyone has had trouble with the Titanal boards as compared to more traditional boards. Any reviews would be helpfull to settle the debate in my mind....and wallet. :argue: ........ I also like the WCR top sheet choices.. but performance is really what im looking for.

    Thanks in advance

    Patrick
