  1. You got that right! still got the same clothes I had in High School, and wear them!

besides, I have a real job, not one where I surf the internet all day on the company puter!

It's a treat to get the puter on and see what you Ya-hoo's have been up to all summer.

  2. Level makes great gloves, they will fall apart just like any other glove of course, but slower than many and the wrist protection is/seems effective without being uncomfortable/restrictive.

I have a pair of trigger mits that are 8 years old, replaced the velcro on them the palm base still has most of the nubs on it. wish they made it in a mitt. it's the only glove that has made it through a year.

  3. any idea how the bsquared specs compare to the new FLC? i was kinda inspired by that b2 - looked like the perfect all mountain alpine freecarving ripper - really the progressive direction alpine should be headed (imo). i ordered an flc & had it in my hands, but due to a build error, ended up sending it back before it touched snow. still deliberating if i should revisit this for next season.

Right now if I could only have one board, it would be the b2!! great all around board.

but that would never happen, one board, yea right.....

  4. My thoughts, my rite to change it!!!!

all of the cubical carvers have chased away ALL of the people who had the knowledge you look for, you just took offense to the way they delivered it to you:nono: had you spent face to face time with them you may have realized they knew what they were talking about.

damn shame, Bomber used to be entertaining as well as informative.

why don't we beat the sh$$ out of Snowman so he quits as well, then I can use the site to:sleep::sleep::sleep:

    I'm runnin dark.......:p

  5. I was a little nervous to try the plates because of all the feedback of how weird and difficult they were to get use to.

I started with the softer one, I just rode it like it wasn't even on the board. I tried all 3 working up to the stiffest.

to my surprise there was no transition period for me. what I noticed was at low speeds I felt it in my knee joint more, at high speed they took away all the bumps and chop and gave my legs more energy to go longer before I felt like I needed to rest them.

As for the difference from plate to plate. the stiff plate could not be peddled to draw out a longer turn, or slow down at the lift. I had to come in at a good speed and hockey stop it. The 2 softer plates, I had no problem twisting or peddling them to do what I wanted them to do.

as a side note, they were on my f2 196.

  6. So I made it home after 2 airports did NOT have a plane for me to get on.

lots of beer, hot dog, chips, Cliff bar,6 Pepsi's and candy.

Mr. Azweepay was on with me, He pulled his "Kress" hat over his eyes, put his hood up and went to sleep. I thought I heard him say " wait for it" what ever that means. then he giggled. the other passengers had a look like they just ate a bad piece of fish. if I didn't know better I think Mr. Azweepay was crop dusting the plane the whole way home!:nono:

He told me to tell every one he had a great time:biggthump
