Yes, Southwest has already Cancelled my flight :( which was to arrive @ 9:25 AM. Next flight available arrives @ 2:45 PM (which seems to me to be a worse time storm-wise) so that may get Cancelled :(:( also.

Matt, I agree with GeoffV 100%. If you are even remotely interested, make it (ECES) happen. It sounds like you're ready, so a sick day or 2 may be in order to attend ECES. It IS the only way you will be able to 'Try-It-Before-You-Buy-It' on the east coast ! You will NOT be disappointed, and it may save you a lot of $$ in the long run (Specially in Boots) finding what fits and what works for you the FIRST TIME

barryj, I did it to an older board (no grinds left) I have to mount a plate system directly to the board. Unless you are experienced with this type of work, I would recommend finding a builder or an experienced shop do the job, specially on a newer (good) board. The cost of the materials (countersink, inserts, epoxy, P-tex) alone is not cheap. While the integrity of the inserts/ epoxy does not seem to be a problem, the finish on my P-tex plugs leave a bit to be desired :( .

Fire up the milling machine if you want steel receivers for Cateks. It's a pretty simple modification to have the 'silky smooth' entry and piece of mind seeing the pins engaged :) ........

88, we miss riding/seeing/watching you on the 'slops' this year. In retrospect, it was a good year to NOT purchase a Season Pass. I know people that are sorry they bought a Six-Pack ! Look at the positive side, you saved $400-$500 (that's enough to get you to ECES for a few days) and go for 89 ............

and AMAZING scenery !

GeoffV, Thanks. I did call Stratton Group Sales & they told me that "the ECES Coordinators would have vouchers to hand out, that would then come to the ticket window to be transferred to Lift Tickets". I was just concerned if the cut-off date was the same (this Friday) as lodging.

AlexJ, sorry if I missed it somewhere else but, is their any more information on purchasing 2012 Lift Tickets only ? Thanks jp1.

Overheard one of the other 'first trackers' saying they returned his money for a season pass & told him 70 and over ski FREE :).
