  1. I’ll take them if Chouinard doesn’t and : 1- They’ll fit my 26.5 boots ? Pretty sure the will but I’ll confirm. Or if you happen to know ?? 2- They come complete as sold (I believe they come with one lift?) ? 3- You’re ok shipping to Canada? Obviously I’ll pay any extra Thanks !
  2. Hey guys n girls, just looking for opinion on idea of picking up a (barely) used 163 Oxess boardercross board to use as my do it all (except powder) board. It’s for sale locally for (I think) a super cheap price of $350 (Canadian) ! I’m riding mostly (chopped and lumpy) groomers on smaller narrow hills in the east with pretty flexy old Raichles. I know Oxess make great boards, and believe a boardercross board wld be good for hard charging in hard packed and often icey conditions .... correct ? One concern is the sidecut radius seems really big (especially for my small local hills) at 16m. Will I have a hard time tightening up turns when necessary?? Ive been riding hardboots since day 1 on big western mountains almost 30 years ago so I am fairly competent and still like to put some effort/energy into it. Other boards I’m looking at are a Prior 4WD, a Kessler Ride (would be a no brainer but afraid it’s too big at 176 ?), or possibly something more carve oriented like a coiler Nirvana. Any thoughts, or opinions are greatly appreciated. I don’t change gear often and want to try to get it right! Thanks
  3. Hey Boardski, wondering about the Steepwater … from what you’ve said above it sounds like it might be the kind of board I’m interested in ! I typically don’t change gear very often so my concern is that this might be older design and/or technology and I’d be better off holding out for something more “modern” to come available. Any thoughts on how this might compare to a newer all mountain from one of the better manufacturers like Coiler, Donek, etc ? I do know Arbour had/has a very good reputation for quality, so don’t get me wrong I’m not slighting Arbour. I currently ride an older, shorter all mountain board and I’m also considering just adding a more capable carver like the Coiler Nirvana that mprovenc has listed for the bigger more open runs I unfortunately only sometimes get to enjoy. Any thoughts, opinions are greatly appreciated! Also would you have any problem shipping to Canada ? Thanks !
  4. Hey Alexey ! Do you still have bindings available? I’d be interested in medium race titanium (in black if available but not deal breaker). But I am very curious about what “Shred Gruumer” ordered (race titanium PROFLEX?) … is this a different option from the standard “race titanium” ?? Thanks !
  5. Hey there, I know you have other interest ( from your “vintage” ad and above), but please put me in line next for the Nirvana (dependent on intended weight range, and your willingness to ship North to Canuckadaland ?) if they all pass !
  6. Thanks Dave that does help! Not 100% sure (as it seems different retailers can sell them with different liners ?) but most likely they are the stiffer version, and not what I’m looking for. Thanks anyways, hope someone can make use of them !
  7. Hey Dave, I may just be interested in these if you’re ok with shipping north to Canada ? Obviously m happy to pay whatever extra shipping costs. The only question would be just how soft/stiff these liners are? From what I read these come with either large “pads” (?) -stiffer, or smaller “pads” (?) - softer. Do you have any idea ? If not I think the boot model they came out of will give us some indication? I’m replacing a fairly new (NOS) raichle branded “Palau” liner, which is bit stiffer than some others out there. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!
  8. Hey Snowcoach, I’ve wiped away my tears and ready to try again .... These may be a tad tight, but thinking they might be worth a shot. Are you original owner ? Are these liners stock or something else ? Street shoe sizes are so wonky, do you happen to know what mondo size your feet are ? Thanks !
  9. NH Rider you don’t really want this antique do ya ?!? Fact that Whistler is where this whole adventure all started for me back in ‘94 makes it seem all the more “right” that this should come my way! Would be nice companion to my Prior Khyber Guess I shouldn’t have slept in .....
  10. I’ll take it if NH Rider doesn’t please ! I’ll send pm now
  11. Hey Maddy, your last reply went to my junk mail so I missed it till now. Glad this worked out for all ! Knew you’d get interest here ... great site, great people ..... hardboots forever!
  12. Hey Dave, I may be seriously interested in the board, but the boots wouldn’t fit. And lthough I really like the old Burton bindings, I’m not sure if I trust them especially with the thinner (red) bails so not sure on those either, sorry. But I’m hoping you can give us a little more info on the board. The year, if you know what weight it was built for, and maybe some indication of the amount of use it’s seen ?? Are you the original owner or ? I read that the Razor was designed as a “soft boot carver”, but obviously you went with the plates/Deeluxe on it ... did the combo work for you ? The boots I’d be using would be (MUCH softer ) old Raichles, and I’m ideally wanting an aggressive carving/all mountain/free ride board. If you or anyone else has thoughts on this I’d greatly appreciate any input ! Based on your price for full package I’m optimistic I could make a very reasonable offer on board (depending on age/use ) and bindings (if they had to go as package) ! Thanks Lino Also, is it just the photo/angle that makes the board (esp the nose) look really wide ?? Is it standard width ? I think somewhere reading about it I saw 25 or so ?? Thanks again Lino
  13. So in the end there were only 4 sets available??
  14. Hey Digger saw that there’s been issue with messages , been keeping an eye for sign issue’s resolved or an update. Just thought I’d check in. Depending on what jl1, garybergman, and charliechocolate are after (UPZ/Deeluxe ?) with Dusty Bottle in for 1 Deluxe, I may have a chance at 2nd ?? Finger and toes crossed I’ll keep checking for updates.
  15. Of course .... I stepped away from my laptop for one day Looks they’re probably all spoken for but I’ll pm you just in case
  16. Thanks for the tip Soybomb! Habs2c is actually in same area as seller so hopefully we can make that work and much easier. Habs2c is looking for a board to introduce new recruits at local hill so also a good cause. I do have an old Rossi board about same size I’ve been meaning to offer up so I’ll bring it out and check with pmorita.
  17. I'm trying (trouble connecting with seller) to buy the boots in same ad and not really sure if this could be useful to anyone but (kind of) local kijiji ad has 157 Burton Ultra Prime with some old Burton plates. I'm thinking I could buy whole package and pass the board and bindings on to anyone who could use them for like $25-50 ! Like I said I haven't actually spoken to seller and obviously haven't seen board but hoping its in decent shape, certainly looks to be in pics. I'm not really sure, but thinking those bindings would probably not be suitable for a heavier or aggressive rider? Anyone interested ?? Any thoughts ??
  18. Hey Routemaster is everything sold ? Looking for boots and thought I saw something about the boots on Kijiji Quebec but can’t find now? Please let me know. I’m in Ottawa so shipping be easy, or I may even be able to arrange pickup. Thanks/merci Zio
  19. Safe to assume the boots are sold ?? Zio
  20. Would an insole like shim (between liner and shell) be an option to take up some space ?
  21. So, my old boots are absolute toast, and I'm not ready to invest in a brand new pair (mostly because I'm really unsure what will work and fit best), so I'm trying to find a way to make what's available work at least temporarily. I have always ridden and want to stay with a softer hardboot so I'm pretty much looking at older SB Raichle/Deeluxe (though not ideal for my foot shape) . I've scoured the forums for info, compared with previous boots, and as a result I now probably have more questions than answers but I'll try to focus on the main issue/question here. My feet measure 26.7 and 27.1 so from what I've been reading, I think I'd probably be best off with a 26 shell in the Raichle/Deeluxe boots. And so of course everything I'm now finding for sale is listed as a 9 or 27 ! 1 pair of 324s are listed locally dirt cheap, and Snowjob1 has a nice pair of Track 225s (28.5 liners ?). I have an almost new (maybe moulded once?) pair of the old Raichle Thermoflex liners in a 26.0 I'll try to load a pic or two shortly. SO MY QUESTION IS HOW MUCH DO THE OLD THERMOFLEX LINERS EXPAND WHEN HEATED? WILL THEY EXPAND ENOUGH TO FILL A 27 SIZE SHELL OR WILL THEY BE SLOSHING AROUND IN THERE? Also the 26.0 liners are a pretty close fit but I'm pretty sure I read that's the way they should be before moulding. Is that correct? Will the inner dimensions stretch a little to accommodate a toe cap etc. ?? Is there another "high volume" liner that would work better? I've had great experience with a couple of pairs of thermo liners and have no problem buying new liners if it'll work. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated
  22. Just quick note to say I’m very interested! I’m hoping to have time tonight to look at sizing and will get back to you then.
  23. Hey Al, maybe some confusion?? That quote was mine, 2 pairs available are Snopros and Hot. I discovered a crack on underside of Xbones and pulled them from ad. Maybe some useful parts, if I can help someone let me know. ZL
  24. Hey Bill, I,ve got 2 pairs, older but barely used--$50/pair http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?36336-Older-Bindings-snopro-Hot-Rossi-X-bone-S-i&referrerid=10487 If that doesn't work, I'll try again later when time
