  1. Yeah if you call the courier ie UPS, DHL direct they will want twice that for a single shipment but we have a couple of good web companys in the UK that let you book through them for a small fee to access the business account rate with the couriers which are significantly different. Would be surprised if there is not something similar in the US.
  2. Photos. As you can see top sheet has the usual binding marks and lift line scratches. Base is good with just very light scratches and needs a bit of wax.
  3. Shipping to most of Europe would be about 50 Euro. Will post some pictures tomorrow.
  4. For sale Rossignol 198cm Undertaker swallowtail board. Base and edge in very good condition. Usual liftline scratches on top sheet. 200 GBP (about 300 USD) or best offer. Board is in Scotland. Shipping to US would be approx 100 USD. Any interest?
  5. Got to recomend the Elan Ascent. I've got the 169 and its great for narrow chutes or in the trees. It got 30mm taper, same as a Burton Fish but just being that bit longer it floats even better. Still light enough to hike with easily. My other pow board is a 198 Undertaker, awesome on big faces, but a real pain to hike with due to size and weight.
  6. Yeh I do have very low volume feet, so maybe he thought they would not puff up enough where i need it. I have new boots and liners now so all good.
  7. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago when I got thicker footbeds. The guy in Surefoot advised against remolding the liner as he said it would shrink even more. Dont know if this is right or not. Mike.
  8. If you want everything then it would be 10GBP which is approx 20CAD. Payment would be by Paypal. Let me know if this is what you are after. Mike.
  9. Much as I would love to see more alpine events there are an equal number of alpine and pipe events on next years calendar so this may have nothing to do with USSA but may just be the schedule from FIS???
  10. Just clearing out the loft and found these spare parts for Raichle SB boots which I no longer have. If anyone could use these then let me know. Looking for a few bucks to cover postage from scotland. These are all in used condition.
  11. The boot length adjustment on these bindings was very fragile and will slip to a larger setting releasing the boot very easily when the bindings are worn even with a light weight rider so be careful and check often if you are going to ride on these!
  12. I do remember back in the days of asym race/carve boards that a rep told me they made 60% regular 40% goofy boards. Think that was a burton rep.
  13. Hi, If you have a group of people and are looking for a coach / instructor let me know. I am a qualified and experienced instructor and a former racer. Could do freeriding or gate training. Mike.
  14. I've seen a few people riding tandem in Kaprun (Austria) but they were always standing one regular, one goofy unlike the pics here where both riders are the same stance.
  15. who needs cord when you have diamonds. This is what we race on scotland in the summer.
  16. Yeh you can kind of carve on dendix as long as you keep pretty up right and dont bank your turns too much, problem is after 3 or 4 turns your edge has heated up so much that the base starts to melt away from it (due to the friction). I'm currently instructing at http://ski.midlothian.gov.uk/ the longest plastic slope in europe, sure as hell nothing like steamboat where i spend my winters! Mike.
  17. I found the inserts on the rossi world cups was 40mm behind centre when I measured, despite the paperwork saying they were 20mm back. (on the 184cm and on the 159cm) Mike.
