the angle of the camera makes it hard to see but it looks like you are at the back of your board. by shifting your weight out over the tip of your board you engage yourself being able to twist the board using your front foot. this sets the leading part of your edge in the snow with pressuer. this also helps to alow your effective edge to follow for a smoother carve. have a friend film you standing down hill in a spot where you already have speed . have them film 3 or 4 turns up hill , passing you , and 3 or 4 turns after you passed them. than repost your video so we can see you body position and how you inishieate your turns

play it right and u might even get a free pass or 2:ices_ange but patrol usually sucks anyway

I've also thought of this like the old Burton flex high backs. I ride alot in soft boots for teaching and like to lay my shins right into the toungs of my stiff soft boots. I've thought it would be fun to kick it back old school and make a tripple strap. my first burton cruzier 165 with straight edges had flex bindings but with shaved Sorrels for boots. the gboots had to much flex and constanly broke the third strap. with todays stiffer boots it may do better. plus plastics are more durable today. if you make a prototype for a RIDE binding Id love to try it . as all i ride are Ride bindings on my softy set-ups email me

it dose not matter what brand it is or where you got it it does matter if the manufacturer is still in bussiness I know you are attached to it but form what you said it just gave out I would be conserened about more base caving in:( if you got a defective board the manufacturer should replace:argue: I know you are attached but it may be a safty issue if you are that attached contact manufacturer for a replacement you can inform them of the sentamental attachment and you would like your wall art back with the replacement board most reputiable manufacturers will stand by there product espesually with the soft spot under the p-tex a friend of mine runs a rim shop when a customer has a structuraly unsafe rim and dosent want it fixed he cuts a slash in the beed to make the rim unmountable to protect himself against a lawsuit .(he can still fix rim if customer changes mind and wants it fixed later) you can ask the manufacturer to make the board unrideable so it is just wall art that can just be stinging the insets with a welder to make it so you can't mount bindings to it hope it all workes out for you

as for spending cash I spend as little as possible. I work as a teacher so I dont have to buy a seasons pass. I got started hardbooting on an old 94 rossi throtle $75 oxygen proton boots $40 and TD1's for under $100 so I'm in it for the short money but I did buy a new board this year a nice little twin( flexy sexxy) but the last new board I bought was in 97 snowboarding is my winter A sport with many other A and B sports I'm always looking to spend the short money so used second hand ebay as long as it quality it should last so new old used or spit and balling wire I wasn"t born with a silver spoon in my mouth

teach on a split board and ski to your lesson location than clamp it back together and teach than bare your white ass for them to kiss

Super glue is like vinal sideing it works but it dont look to good Ive used super glue to mend a peeling top sheet after some ones 5 min epoxy didn't work I hate the white film left behind after drying have you found a good way to deel with that I was thinking a little vasoline

a good two part epoxy two metal scrapers and a good C clamp tape your board with blue painters tapearound the affected area have your scrapers and clamp handy mix your epoxy on a peice of card board stand board on edge and drizzel in if you tape to the edge of your top sheet you make a pocket for epoxy after epoxy drizzeled one scraper on base and one on top sheet let both scrapers hang off edge a little to make a place for squeesed out epoxy to go let epoxy cure and sand off exess:AR15firin

wen u got urself a stuck screw tigthin it tell it pops it takes a lot less force to tigthen thru da ceroshion than to back it out than after tigthening pop back screw out ounce out anti seze oil lock tight spread a liberal amount of lube on the shaft reinsert and screw till the hole gets tight again:biggthump

soooo I've seen a couple of colors I was woundering what each color is I've seen purple and red are there any other colors and what are the stiffnesses

the gap on the 0 degree is between the footbed and the cant and what combo do you use for the 6 degree cant but the washer idea is great for the 3 degree, on a closer inspection the small bumper dosn't touch the deck ok all figured ouy now I now know that a bumper for a 0 degree cant has 0 dots on it a bumper for a 3 degree cant has 3 dots on it a bumper for a 6 degree cant has 6 dots on it making it easyer to match bumpers to cants my problem was I had one 3 degree cant with 3 degree bumpers and one 0 degree cant with 3 degree bumpers causing the foot bed to not sit flat on the 0 degree cant now I just gotta get 2 - td1 - 0 degree purple bumpers got any on hand?

I just got my first pair of td-1's looking for some info on bumpers and cants I'm guessing that there are a few different sizes of bumpers? I got a 0 degree and a 3 degree cant. both foot beds have the same bumpers on them a large one and a small one. the one on the 3 degree cant seems to sit correctly as every thing touches nicely. the one with 0 degree cant seems to sit high on the side with the large bumper. so I am guessing that with a 0 degree cant you need 2 small bumpers? than what do you do withg the 6 degree cants? a different bumper set or 2 large bumpers or an xtra large st of bumpers? help me an old time rider bet a newbe hardbooter
