  1. Since I have no mean to make a video of myself boarding, I'm only left with these. Location is Ponte di Legno - Tonale resort, Italy, on the Casola slope. Heat, in the middle of the winter, in a location that goes up to the glacier at 3000m, was absurd. We're probably not going to ski in 10 years from now in Italy. Edit; oh btw if you follow alpine skiing, just behind the trees on the left there's the run where very recently Sofia Goggia broke tiba and fibula.
  2. Any news for an intec step in system for these boots? I've seen it's been talked about for at least 4 years now. Would be cool if they had it.
  3. Pretty iced hard pack this morning in Ponte di Legno-Tonale (Italy).
  4. I got the same bindings, where do you find those Gecko pads? That's something I could try as well!
  5. Well, it was about time. The board on the left served me well, it's surely more than 20 years old, it has carved on A LOT of slopes along the Italian Alpine Arc. The board on the right finally replaced it. What a difference! Just for specs, the Xlevel was 4 cm longer but had 10 cm less effective edge length. The Rabanser is also 2.5 cm wider at the waist. Radius is more or less similar, I don't know the old one but I once estimated it was around 11m whereas the R is about 12. The new baby holds an edge in just a different universe. But the old classic was a pleasure to ride around in bad conditions and very crowded days.
  6. (My first post in here! Anyway) I drilled a small hole on the first boot but the cable did not sit in the internal slot anyway and it came out slanted from the boot, so I didn't do it for my other boot. I never seen or tried the cable passing in the existing hole (if my boots have it, I need to check) but I'll try it out. Pros of having the cable loose is that it stays more against the leg and imho it's more comfortable. The con is that in long days it can wander around along the calf and you could find it somewhere else like past the rear of the boot.
