  1. Hello, from Colorado, James. I should be able to meet this guy for you without too much trouble. If you haven't found someone yet, I would be glad to hook you up. PM me for specifics. Chris
  2. Hey NSR, do you know if these would fit over a pair of glasses? Thanks! Chris

  4. Hey RJ! The skier stopped and the Ski Patrol lady(the face dabber!) got us to exchange information but that was about it. I was "dazed and confused" and had to sit on the side of the trail for 10 minutes or so. I was offered a ride down in the toboggan, and should have taken her up on it, but did not.
  5. All, hello from Colorado! So far this year, I have been out twice at Breck and twice at Keystone. Both fantastic resorts for carving, in my opinion. Two of the four days, I have been taken out by straight lining skiers. The first time was on the first run on the first day at Breck! I was not injured, but it did rattle me a fair bit. The skier was very apologetic and realized I was the downhill person. The second time over at Keystone, I didn't really have the chance to talk much to the offending skier as I was completely knocked out cold. Again, I was the downhill person. I was awakened by a "Keystone Cop" dabbing cotton balls on my face as it was cut up pretty badly in three spots. Someone had taken my board off my boots.....zero recollection of that. A lens blew out of my glasses, my goggles were broken, my newly-formed black eye was almost swollen shut the next morning, I got a severely bruised hip, and to top it off, a concussion with ringing ears for 2 days. No bueno. This was all while wearing a helmet. Been on the injured reserve list for almost two weeks now. So, my fellow carving friends, skiers just don't seem to see the big "No Straight Lining" signs, or they just don't care. Look not twice, but thrice as it could save your life. May your winters be collision-free. Chris C
  6. Hey Chris, @MNSurfer (Brian) was looking for one of these not so long ago... C
  7. Hello from Colorado, Dan! I was just scrolling through the WTB section and saw this. I have two sets of FG plates with all hardware and in very good condition. These plates work with 4x4 inserts. Are you still looking or have you found some at this point? I do not have a K171, but do have a K180 that is flawless that I could show you. This board has the FG plates already mounted in the Thanks much, Chris
  8. @andre Ray may be interested. He was looking for F2 mediums but not sure about regular vs. Intec heels. C
  9. Hi Geoff, I just sent you a PM. I have a set of extra bindings....F2s Titanium with standard bail you may want to look at. Let me know if you would like to see pics. .Chris
  10. Hey EBoot, I have a handful of windsurfers, sails, masts, booms, bases, etc. as this is my spring/summer way to get the carve on. They are all stored in a trailer and in very good shape. I have a Starboard Phantom 320, a Kona One, a Bic Techno 293, and a Goya Volar. No foil stuff, I only windsurf. That said, if you are beginning foiling or just getting back into windsurfing, what I have would be great for you. All late model stuff, no old crappy gear. The Goya Volar that you could take off my hands is a year and a half old and 160 liters. I am 210lbs and can uphaul pretty much any size sail on this board. I have SDM as well as RDM masts, and sails ranging from 5.5M up to 10.5M. This Volar can take any size from 5 meter sail up to a 9 meter. Got a full kit for you so all you need is water and some wind. Too bad I didn't see this post earlier, I was just in Acton, MA this past week!! Let me know if you would like to see pictures. Chris
  11. Hey there CB. Way to stick with it, well played on your part!! Now you have yourself another tool to bring to the mountain. Will be interesting to see if the ratchet in the forthcoming one wears out as well......could be just a bad design or a very strange coincidence that you and I have the same tool, we had the same problem, and here we are on the same Forum...hmmm. Perhaps I should look up their number! Thanks for closing the loop on that one. C
  12. Wow, CB, that is really weak customer service on their part. Especially since it is what I would assume is a relatively low-ticket item. Was it one of their ratcheting screw drivers, by chance? I have one of those and it is quirky at times. Regardless of the price tag, they owe you an explanation and a new tool at a minimum! On the other end of the customer service spectrum is a company out your way called(dare I say it on a Snowboard forum...but they have plenty of snowboard related stuff also!) www.utahskigear.com. I have had quite good experiences with them and also www.yyzcanuck.com. For example, I returned a waxing table two weeks ago to USG, no questions asked, for a full refund and they even covered shipping on the returned item. I do not know what companies are thinking when they do not truly support their products. The whole customer service experience seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird these days. Since they are not getting back to you quickly for a resolution, I guess business is so good that they don't have time. That is really lame.
  13. Hey MN, do you have the hardware that mounts this to the board? Thanks! C
  14. Wow, that went fast. If it kills me I gotta get out with you gang this year. Thanks much for the heads up, Coach, I look forward to meeting you in person. C
  15. Hey there, Ink, thanks for the heads up! Was today the last day at The Luv or are they staying open later? Hope you got plenty of spring riding in. C
  16. Hello, All! Looking to purchase a somewhat late model set of F2 step-in bindings. Please PM me if you know of anyone looking to get rid of some. Thanks! Chris
  17. Hey there, DTB, thanks for posting pics, and for willingness to separate. I will let someone else take these off your hands. Thank you much, Chris
  18. Hey there DTB, PM sent re: Incline and Monster. Looking for specs and numbers. Would you sell the boards only and NOT the bindings? Thanks! Chris
  19. I second what West Carven just said. $160 in the lower 48? That is way too expensive especially since you are looking in the 155-165cm range board. I just had a 180cm board shipped to me and it was $75 using 3 day Fed-Ex. I just got a quote TODAY to ship a 175cm Donek Incline to Maine from here in Colorado and it was $84 from UPS and a similar number from USPS for 4 day delivery INCLUDING insurance. So, unless you are getting something on an expedited basis, I would balk at $160. What is getting you is NOT the length of the package, but rather the height or the width of this package. If you can slim down the volume via either height or width(tough to do as you are not able to squish a board), so......you are left with only height to play with in this delivery. Go online to USPS/UPS/Fedex and you can get quotes based on the dimensions of the package. If you get just the board delivered and get boots/bindings elsewhere, I am in West's camp, you will drop the price markedly. Chris
  20. A-ha! Your screen must have better resolution as I only see a scuff above the C in Coiler.
  21. Looks like a set of Donek Risers or other riser was put on there. I have an Incline with the same circular marks on the topsheet.
  22. See this add for the bindings....F2 TItamiums for $125. Joeb998 Member 15 Location:Spokane Posted December 5, 2022 Time to thin out the closet as these aren’t getting any younger just sitting there.. Donek 182 GS. 20cm waist. 15m side cut. In overall good shape but does need a base repair do to an early season rock a few years ago. Was originally made for Alan Smith but unsure of flex. Feels stiff to me. …..$100 obo F2 182 RS. Was drilled and T nutted for a race plate. Is in overall excellent shape. I have never ridden this board. $150 obo Volkl Renn Tiger 173 gs has some nicks on the top sheet and could use a base structure and tune ….$125 obo F2 race titanium bindings believe to be a size large as they fit my 29.5 boots $125 obo regards, Joe 509-251-6171
  23. Hey there, Broke from Bozeman, welcome to the 'Hood! I am a newer member myself and have found this community amazing in a very short amount of time. You are on to something when you say you are looking for an all mountain board, as you want a "Utility Player". Stay away from anything that has "race" on it as this will be too stiff for your weight and unless conditions are perfect, your day will not be. To keep the wallet heavy, the Vintage Sale section has some amazing deals. A lot of times, people will split up what they are showing, for example if you see a full setup, but only want the bindings, the person, after a little bit, may very well be willing to part with the setup piece meal, vs having the full setup collect dust in their garage. Individually, you should be able to fund an older board with plenty of miles left on it for $300 or so +/-, Boots $200-$300(stay away form anything too stiff there also. Bindings like older Trench Diggers are cheaper and you may be able to get for $200ish. If you are seeing 5 buckles on the boots, chances are they are super stiff and will turn your shins to hamburger by lunchtime. There is a Thirst board in FOR SALE that is a slalom board 162cm that looks to be in excellent shape, but this may be a little higher than you want to spend at $400 but it is an awesome board. I do not see too many carving boards under 160 cm so you may find that to be a limiting factor unless you want a junior setup which you will most likely outgrow. Stay logged in as often as you can as good stuff does NOT last on this site. Have cash willing to send out via paypal friends and family or Zelle. Shipping is not too expensive unless you are shipping boards over 175cm+. I shipped a 175cm board last week to Canada and it was $95 using USPS. Ouch. Any questions, feel free to bounce them off me. Chris from Colorado
  24. Funny, I just sent YOU a message at the same time! The mondo size is 29.5. I am seeing via member chatter that 60 degrees sounds about standard....does this sound more appropriate? Thanks! C
