@slabber Lucky you. Mine are also 279. According to the response from bomber, there was a change to shorten the bails. Mine was before that. I ordered the new bails and they should work now.

I know this is a bit old, just in case anyone facing the same issue and don’t have tools to mod the shaft. I successfully kept the shaft in place by freezing it in water and turned and removed the screws.

TD3 for sale, all hardware, blue insert and two 3 degree cant plate. $265 + shipping Bought it from @dragonrider. Didn't have a chance to try them out. Selling because they don't seem to work with my small boots (shell size 287. The shafts turn with the screws.). It seems a 299 would work, but you should make sure they work for yourself.
