    I was recently given a pair of used TLT7s. I have been wanting to make the jump to hardboots for some time. I know that these boots aren't compatible with existing hardboot split bindings but want to make an attempt at constructing an HDPE toe welt using adhesive and some drilling into the toe/sole of the boot. Has anyone done such a thing? Any advice?
