  1. oh yeah thats small. i wear a 10.5, maybe with risers it would work.
  2. Whats the waist width? I cant find any hardboots in my size for a decent price. so i was thinking about trying to use my Burton Driver X boots.
  3. Just purchased a Donek Pheonix not too long ago along with a pair of ride insanos. Ive been loving the stiffer setup, its really allowed me to improve my carving skills. Im looking to purchase another used board here at somepoint and im looking for more of a soft boot Freecarver. something with a large side cut radius, 10+. I know that the ride insanos are some of the stiffest soft boots, but would they be okay for pushing a bigger board into carves like this? Or should i just get hardboots?. Looking for something under 300, vintage is okay.
  4. Yeah I've read those articles and I've been really focusing on technique. Racing on the new setup this weekend so we will see how it goes. Still feels like the board is riding me rather than me riding it.
  5. I've been snowboarding for 6 years. Always been a carving style rider. Just bought a Donek Phoenix 159 and a pair of Ride Insano boots. I've only ridden this setup a few times and I juat feel uncomfortable on it. I know this setup isn't super stiff in regards to alpine carving but just a lot stiffer than I'm used to. Any tips for trying to get used to a stiffer setup?
