  1. Hi Folks, what brand/model of snow pants you choose when you ride with hardboot setting? I do see most of the pro players choose the snow pants short enough only to reach to their ankles so it is easier for them to adjust buckles and strap faster.Thx
  2. Thanks so much for the reply, do you have any contact info for their training programs? Thanks again
  3. THIS IS NOT AN AD! Plan to spend whole winter in summit county snowboarding this year (just like last year), but the rental market is going CRAZY right now. I am so desperate to find a place to stay in the mountains Anyone has advice or a room to rent? I am honestly open to any option right now.......
  4. either way is working for me, thanks for reply
  5. Still a newbie to racing board/hardboot (my 2nd year). Always want to participate in Alpine racing and hit those gates, but couldn't find any snowboard racing training program for adults throughout the season. Any advice? Thx
  6. I was emailing the bomber website to ask about if by any chance I can visit their shop to try different spring options before purchasing. It was surprised to me that Walker, who replied to me, is also the owner of Harb Ski systems at Colorado, where I had my hard boots fitting before. I went there yesterday to got my BTS kit installed and boot adjustment. So if you are considering install the BTS kit for your deeluxe boots to gain more flex and you happened to live in Colorado, Walker's shop is definitely the place to go.
  7. Does bomber associate with any store that I can visit to try those different spring combination? Thx
  8. great to know, Barry! What a relief to me and my legs,LOL. Thx!
  9. I have had enough with my Deeluxe Track 425 pro bc its stiffest race tongue (stiffness 70+ according to Deeluxe) even though I just rode it for 5 days. I just searched the alternative tongue option and found an official product (stiffness 62) as below. Not sure if it will fix the the problem of the boots, any one tried it before? PS: I definitely understand that UPZ will be the better option, I didnt have the budget to get a new boots without selling the Deeluxe 425
  10. Hi Briana, welcome to the alpine snowboard world. Actually I am also a beginner on alpine snowboard, start from this season. Just as all the previous comments, boots is the 1st priority and I had painful experience about it. I accidentally chose the Deeluxe 425 pro as my 1st hard boot, even though Sean suggested me the other options, I thought the stiffer boot would last longer without thinking about the comfort of my feet (big regret!). It was way too stiff that I even posted a thread to ask about how to initial toe side turn with it ( I was pretty good on toe side with soft boot). My personal experience is to go with a more flex boots and got it boot fitted with an expert. Good luck and you will feel in love with carving on those beasts!

  13. Awesome! I can be there on both Wed/Thu afternoon. Hopefully we can meet on Copper. Thx!
  14. Does that mean you are using walk mode all the time even riding? I did feel that forward lean mechanism of Deeluxe 425 limited my forward movement. Thank you
  15. Will try to practice on pushing back knees into snow. thx
  16. Thx! Thx Yep, my binding angle is 55/50, may need to think about changing it to a high degree. Also, thx for the advice about push the back knee into the snow in toe side.
  17. front boot is full straight, rear one is fully lean towards
  18. Hi 2 days ago tried my hard boot and free carve board for the 1st time ever, it is totally different from the soft boot set I used to ride!!!! The question I have right now is that I am suffering on the toe side since it is extremely hard for me to press on the tongue of boots, so that I can barely felt the toe side of the board (was following the technical documents to practice). Any recommendation? Thank you
  19. thank you for your advice! may I ask where can I find the VSR info?
