Richard took a trip to Nepal a while back and while there hopped on a helicopter to see Mt. Everest. It was one of the coolest things for him to see Mt. Everest with his own personal eyes and to fly over base camp. It was a once in a lifetime trip. Hopefully one day we get back there to hike from Lukla airport to base camp (2 week trip on foot).

Richard takes his kids to go skiing at Brighton Ski resort in Utah. Brighton is one of Backcountry's life's favorite hometown ski resorts. We ski and snowboard Brighton as much as we possibly can. They offer a ton of great terrain to ride or ski.

The crew from Backcountry Life join up with friends to go snowcat Skiing in Alberta Canada. We ride with Castle Mountain SnowCat operation in Alberta Canada. We flew into Calgary Canada then drove 2 and a half hours to the Castle Mountain Ski Resort. In the morning we meet for the riders meeting to go over avalanche safety. We had a total of 12 riders in our group which mean we filled the entire snowcat. We rode fresh powder most of the day.
